Screen Reader Best Practices
Screen Reader Compatibility Mode
Students can enable Screen Reader Compatibility mode in the software to improve navigation.
-
Log in to your Hawkes student account.
-
Click your name in the top right corner, then Settings.
-
On the General tab, click Edit next to Accessibility.
-
Select Yes from the dropdown menu and Save Changes.
Although the content is still accessible without this compatibility mode enabled, enabling this setting will make for a more efficient and ideal experience for a student using a screen reader.
