Mental health issues have come to the forefront of the academic world, and instructors are faced with classrooms of students representing a wide range of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral struggles. Teachers who recognize these issues in their students are better equipped to develop strategies to help students address them as individual learners and create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
