In this talk we share a Chemistry based project that has recently been implemented in our College Algebra courses. This project was designed to increase relevance to the exponential and logarithms section of the course. It focuses on using logarithms in the pH context. The project was designed in partnership with the chemistry faculty to provide real context and connections for students who will later take general chemistry.
