This session will introduce participants to the concept of game-based (vs. gamification) learning and demonstrate its potential for enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes in higher education. Participants will learn about the theoretical foundations of game-based learning, explore practical strategies for implementing games in the classroom, and discuss best practices for integrating game elements into course design and assessment.
