An Access Code is a unique 30 character code that identifies you to your instructor and to the Hawkes courseware. It is composed of five sets of six alphanumeric characters, with each set separated by a dash.

Example Access Code:  1A2B3C-4D5E6F-123ABC-456DEF-9Z8Y7X

Your Access Code is needed every time you start the Hawkes courseware, so keep it handy by saving it to your computer or to a flash drive.  Your Access Code will work with newer versions of our courseware, so there is no need to purchase a new Access Code if you lose your Access Code or retake a class.

After Registering your License Number on our website, your Access Code will be displayed. Print that page to obtain a hardcopy. If you provided an e-mail address, an electronic copy of the Access Code will be e-mailed to you. Retain that email for future reference.

Open the Hawkes software and enter your Access Code. The OK button will become available only after all 30 characters have been typed. Once you type in the Access Code, you will be prompted to save it for future use.  Save the “access.cod” file to a flash drive, jump drive, or other form of removable storage if you are going to use the courseware in a computer lab. Save the access.cod file to the My Documents folder or another convenient location if you are using the courseware on your home computer. After saving the access.cod file, whenever you start the Hawkes software in the future, simply click on the "Load from File" button, browse to the folder containing the access.cod file, and double click on it. You will be automatically logged in to the Hawkes courseware.

If you are retaking a class or misplaced your Access Code, use the following form to retrieve your access code: Resend Your Access Code.  You will be required to enter the email address used when registering the software license number.  If you no longer have access to that email address, please contact technical support for assistance.
