During the installation of the Hawkes software, if you receive a message indicating “not enough memory”, then perform the following steps:
| 1. | Press the CTRL, SHIFT, and ESC keys simultaneously to open the Task Manager. |
| 2. | Click on the Performance tab. |
| 3. | Windows XP: The first number listed at the bottom of the screen after “commit charge” is how much memory is left. |
| 4. | Windows Vista / 7: The value next to “Free” under “physical memory” is how much memory is left. |
| 5. | If this value is less than 256 MB, then your computer needs more memory (RAM). To free additional RAM, try the following: |
| a. | Close all unnecessary programs, including those programs in the system tray (near the clock in the lower right corner). |
| c. | Contact your computer's manufacturer or a computer store to purchase and install additional memory. |
