The Hawkes software requires English (US) as the default language for non-unicode programs. The format for numbers must also be set to English (United States). To adjust your computer to use these settings, please perform the following steps:
Windows 7:
| 1. | From the Start menu, open the Control Panel. |
| 2. | Click on the item called Clock, Language, and Region. |
| 3. | Click on the Administrative tab. |
| 4. | Set the language for non-unicode programs to English (United States) by clicking Change System Locale. |
| 5. | Save the changes and restart your computer. |
Windows Vista:
| 1. | From the Start menu, open the Control Panel. |
| 2. | Switch to the Classical View, then Open the Regional and Language Options |
| 3. | Click the Administrative tab. |
| 4. | Set the language for non-unicode programs to English (United States) by clicking Change System Locale. |
| 5. | Save the changes and restart your computer. |
Windows XP:
| 1. | From the Start menu, open the Control Panel. |
| 2. | Open the option called Regional and Language Options. |
| 3. | Click on the “Advanced” tab. |
| 4. | For non-unicode programs, set the default language to English (United States). |
| 5. | Save the changes and restart your computer. |
